Welcome to the Blog of Dogs World India.com

Hello,

Welcome to the Blog of Dogs World India.com - India's Biggest dog site.

Our site aims to become India's Biggest, Best & Most Informative website on dogs. In order to truly be India's most widely referred to site on dogs, we understand that we must have a presence in each and every conceivable place on the web. An email is what we started with, then came the website now a blog, and a lot more to come.

Having been a dog lover since childhood, i have owned many dogs, right from Labs, German Shepherds, Daschunds, English cocker spaniels & boxers. Each breed is fascinating and so different. Each suited to a particular climate, a particular job and even a particular kind of diet.

I've seen a lot of unscrupulous breeders (puppy farmers if i may call them), who breed dogs in unhygenic environments, who in-breed their stock and have no regard for the quality of dogs they sell. After all they only want to sell and make money.

Some of the homes my dogs have gone to have told me of the serious genetic problems their dogs suffered from as a result of bad breeding.

Also i've seen people being convinced to buy a doberman for a home where there are little children. They are told one story. They buy the puppy - after all every puppy looks cute and cuddly when small but when they grow up into a monstrous doberman and you have a 2 yar old at home .... BANG ... the bubble bursts and they find the doberman is not meant for them.

Then, the doberman gets either abandoned onto the streets or thrown into another home. It's also a living being, it also needs love and i wonder how it feels to be thrown away like that. I can only wonder.

The aim of my site is to let the inexperienced dog owner know what he is getting to, choose the right breed, know the responsibility and learn more about dogs. As for the experts there will be a lot of hardcore information to help then increase their knowledge about dogs and understand them even better.

Whatever you will see initially on the site is my idea of what should be there, but i may have missed a lot, and you as dog lovers are welcome to send in suggestions & comments to make us truly better.

Let us make this site a tribute to God's Most Faithful Creation.

Thanks as always
